Hey everyone - I just had the call. I think he is going in alpha order by last name - mine starts with a B. It went well. For more detail - see the "So all that mess about UVA" thread on BLSD.

Is there anything other than the fact your last name falls in the beginning of the alphabet that makes you think that he's going in alphabetical order Coreenne Noir?

Well, my friend with a C last name got called last night.

It could be alphabetical by e-mail group, or by call day, but the more epicycles the theory has, the less convincing it becomes...

I'm toward the bottom of the alphabet, and I received by calls in the afternoon, both the interview and the acceptance. I don't know if that coincidence or not. but there it is...

Don't hate me- I applied late January and got in yesterday. He must have needed some people from my part of the alphabet to round out his calls or something. I think people need to not read too much into all this, there's probably a lot less method than madness in the way most schools do things. Then again, I still read this board, so I guess there's a comforting quality in thinking you know how things are done even if its all speculation...

Yeah that's really short notice. He might have made a mistake in timing that call.
