I think if I got into Vandy and Cornell it would be a hard decision...

Vandy is warm, in the south where I want to practice, chance at scholarships?, but in a big city...

Cornell is ivy league, T-14, in a small town... but very cold!
Paradiso: Vanderbilt ($$), UNC ($$), Wake Forest ($$$$), William & Mary ($$)
Purgatorio: Duke (WL), Northwestern (WL)
Inferno: Texas, Michigan, Penn, Cornell, Virginia

I personally had Michigan and Penn issues when I applied last year. Then I got into UVA and got a scholarship there, as well, so it became a Michigan/UVA/Penn smackdown. Getting money wasn't a deal-breaker but NOT getting it was...that's what booted Penn out of the picture. As for UVA vs Michigan...maybe if UVA hadn't been in the South, it would have been a harder decision. But since I was from there and desperately wanted to leave, it was easier making a choice between Michigan and UVA than it would have been to make a choice between Michigan and Penn had their financial aid been more equivalent.

IU, UK, and Miami would be hard to decide between. What Miami lacks in prestige, it more than makes up in climate. What UK lacks in rankings to IU, it makes up with in-state tuition.

I'm hoping it won't come down to a three-way-tie-breaking visit to each school, because visiting miami is unfair to IU and KY, especially if I visit during the winter.

My opinion:  you're in at ND and will never have to make this decision  ;)
