How long for schools to request LSDAS reports?
« on: November 08, 2005, 02:07:50 PM »
I've started sending out the applications through LSAC's online apps, how long does it usually take for the schools I apply to to request the LSDAS reports? I sent my Villanova application out on Saturday and they requested the report on Monday...

It can vary quite a bit actually.  Some schools wait until they receive something in paper (LSAC sends paper copies of your applications to schools) to request, others do it fairly immediately.  Some are just capricious I think.  I would expect most to request either within 3 days or 2 weeks.  If it's longer than a month, you might shoot them an email to make sure they have your application (check to make sure the app fee went through first, ie if they cashed your check they have received it but maybe misplaced it).

check out the LSN info for the schools you are interested in. That should give you a pretty good idea.
