Addendums have diminishing returns. One well written addendum will probably help you out. Beyond that, I really think that additional addendums need to be both well written and extremely well justified, since you're adding more bulk to your app, thereby taking up more of a busy adcoms time.
To answer your question, yes, I would attach an addendum explaining why you were out, as long as you have a valid explanation.
