application timing due to slow recommendations

application timing due to slow recommendations

so, my lsat is done(166), have my dean certification letters in, apps done, personal statement is done so basically the only thing i am waiting for are my recommendations.  would it be stupid to send in my apps now before my recomendations get in (which should be around mid november) or does it not really matter since they'll just hold my apps.  i really just want to get the apps in so i don't have to think about it (plus getting stuff in early is always better).  do you think they'd penalize me for sending in apps without recommendations?

thanks

I'm in the same boat.  My recommenders are trying to send my letters in this week and my transcripts should follow in the next 2 or so.  Until then I want to just send my apps off
