  I think for the most part, that people see a definite decline on their actual test vs their practice due to the fact that the scale has gotten so much more brutal over the past couple of years. The tests aren't much easier from my experience - test takers are just getting higher scores or more people with low scores are cancelling, skewing the curve. I plan to retake and I think any further practice tests I take that I will simply use th JUN or OCT scales to analyze any pt.

i was scoring 176 consistently before the actual exam.  got a 177 on the oct 05--which i think is a smidgen higher than my practice tests, particularly taking the stringent scale into consideration.

I did. I scored my higest score ever ( I had taken about 15 tests total). Before the real test my peak score was a 174 and my average was about 168 or 169. I do believe that the pressure can help make you more focused and kick your ass into high gear. But I might have just gotten a bit lucky too.

my highest diag was 165 and i got a 168 for Oct
