Why can't you find a school in the location where you'd like to practice for a few years (at least), rather than looking for this "national" placement?

Although you have listed excellent schools, they're really not national at all...you might get a chance or two if you are top 5-10%, but still...if you want "national" placement for some reason, you would probably want to go with a top 10 school, simply because that's where pedigree matters most.

Your list looks pretty good, but I would add:
William & Mary
Emory
University of Connecticut

All are highly regarded, and I think you have a great shot at them all.  Since you're looking for a good place to live, William and Mary is in a beautiful area.  University of Connecticut is also on a nice campus and Connecticut is a great place to live (I'm a little biased having gone to UConn undergrad, but it is still a solid choice).  Emory is in a nice area if you like the South.
