I'm from Kentucky looking to get into environmental law somewhere not too far from home.  Can anyone suggest some good schools that might fit this profile?  I'm applying to UK,UofL,U of Tenn.,U of Ind., Cincy, and South Carolina.

I realize that most of you don't think it is true, but there are law schools outside the Northeastern part of the country and California.  You wouldn't think us hicks would even need lawyers, we've got shotguns!

while there may be some that i'm not aware of, i think you're looking in the wrong area to truly specialize in enviro law

most of those that usually get mentioned as strong enviro schools are in the Pac NW or the NE

(from one Southerner to another)

Hey Pres, do you know anything about the enviro program and Cincy?  Is it a respected program?
