The Paul M Hubert Law Center of Louisina State University is sueing one of its students for copyright infringment in setting up a website called lsulaw.com.
I think this is ridiculous. I'm curious to hear more of the story (what sort of correspondence passed between the school and the student before the suit?) but alas, I have to study for my last exam.
I thought this was discussion-worthy news though. Any thoughts?
Ivy_Hopeful:
I agree that it would be just another way (much like pre-acceptance monies) for the law school to make profit of of their students.

I don't think they should be allowed to sue a student. Wait until they graduate! ;)
