It's really not surprising that in a time of sky-high gas prices, natural disasters, politically-motivated witch-hunts, etc., some polls may indicate voter dissatisfaction. The problem is that the dems have shot their wad far too early, and by the time next November rolls around, all this stuff will either be resolved or discredited. When faced with a choice between the dems and the reps, the voters will make the same choice they made last year. The reason? The dems have their heads even further up their ass then the reps do, and have no idea what they stand for, aside from full capitulation in the war on terror.

Exactly 3peat. A guy sets up a "blind" trust so that there would be no conflicts of interest when he has to make decisions on health care issues. We find out that the trusts are not so "blind" at all. Not only has he been aware of his holdings, he turns around and liquidates shares of his family's company, 3 weeks before the stock takes a double digit fall on bad news. Now he is being investigaged by the SEC! How pray tell does that constitute a politically-motivated witch hunt? If it does turn out that he acted on insider information (which I think will be the outcome of this) he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law (see Martha Stewart).
