I applied to four law schools last year and received three rejections and one invitation to a wait list I never got off of. I took a great job in commercial real estate in May after graduating, but my interest in law was revived while working with some of the legal aspects of my job (drafting contracts, leases, etc.)
My question is whether it's a bad idea to mention rejection letters in my PS or addendum. In my current PS, I mention getting rejected in order to tell the story of how I was never sure about a career in law in the first place, so I never took admissions or the LSAT seriously. But over the course of my first few months in my career, I now know that I want to pursue law, so now I'm serious about the process. It makes sense in my PS, but I'm just not sure if it is helping to explain my situation or if it is just hurting me. Any thoughts?
