Yeah, when someone deletes their own account, their post and name stays but it's labeled "guest."  You'll see it often with trolls and the like...

Okay, so this really fascinates me, why would you invest so much time and effort posting so many inflammatory posts on a chat site (I'm sure that is takes a lot of effort to think up so many different insulting remarks) and then go through the trouble to consciously delete yourself as a user?  Couldn't you just stop posting if you were getting bored?

Trolls frequently delete accounts and then start new ones.

I know this doesn't apply to me since I'm not a troll, but I resigned my accounted over a month ago.  LSD is like a black hole that sucks you in and - especially during apps - I needed to stop wasting so much time.  Deleting my account was like going cold turkey.  But once all my apps were out, I came back.  So all my old posts now say Legal Lassie "guest."
