I have to admit that my level of confidence and attitude towards this whole process changes almost everyday...some days i'm confident...other days, i feel like i have to aim lower...

I'm an African American Male with a 166 on the LSAT and a 3.8 in Intl Rel (from HYS); I'm applying to:

Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, NYU, UPenn, Michigan, Georgetown, Cornell, USC, UCLA, UC-Berkeley, and BU

Should I aim lower...maybe more safeties???

don't apply to anymore schools, you already have a good mix.  your chances are pretty high at most of these schools; what kind of extracurricular etc activities are you/were you involved in?  keep your head up.
