Maka, LOVE your avatar. The Last Unicorn was a stay-at-home-sick favorite when I was little.

I need to get that on dvd . . . that and the Secret of Nimh.

Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh is better as a book. I didn't really like the movie...

I'm so with you on that one.

:) Did you read the sequal? Not as good as the original, but still better than the movie.

I did, although it was so long ago that I don't remember much of anything about it.  I think I only read that one once.

It was Racso. I think his dad dies in the end; electrocuted? It was very sad...

That does sound familiar.

Both of those books were sad.  And I think it scared me when I was little too.

But then again, the absurd wolf that was helping the Nothing in the Neverending Story scared me when I was little, so what can I say...

I've never seen Neverending Story. It was too wierd. I didn't like Labyrinth, either..

It was my favorite movie as a child.  Even though I now recognize that it isn't nearly as good as the Princess Bride.

Why is this thread stuck at the top of the posting sequence?  Are discussions about old fantasy cartoons that important to law school applicants?

Bah!

Bah!

Scientific studies have shown a strong positive correlation between people who enjoy discussing old fantasy cartoons and law school success.
