Obsessing about nothing?!?
« on: September 18, 2005, 08:22:44 PM »
So...i've submitted quite a few applications thus far. Once i submitted, though, I realized that LSAC does not submit our essays to law schools with the labels we entered when attaching the documents (Lesson #1: Never assume anything in this process). I put my name, LSAC # and Soc Sec # on each attachment, but there is no label to distinguish, for example, between my personal statement and diversity statement. Do you think this matters? I am especially concerned with my application to law schools such as Stanford that don't ask for a diversity statement. Should I send a letter/explanation by mail? Or am i just obsessing?

thats what i've been telling myself...but what about schools like stanford that don't ask for a diversity statement...still doesn't matter? or do they receive enough diversity statements (in addition to a personal statement) to recognize what it is?
