i worked at visual communications in downtown la for acouple years..udonething for this ff? asian stuff is always good but i do need to concede that japanese/vietnamese films have an extra layer that makes their respective themes much stronger..  :-*

i wish i worked with them.  but i just found out about it from a friend who is a good friend of a director of one of the films.  japanese films always ride the edge.  thats why im all for promoting this.  im always up for asian awareness.

i think the only problem is that some of the quality of asian american films is somewhat lackin for two reasons..

1. many films harp on the same issues dealing with asian am issues - but this is true of any genre when oversaturated but it just bugs sometimes.

2. audience is still so invariably small and it makes me sick that people like margaret cho get more play that some asian entertainers with 200 times her talent.

A man has to be a cold son of a female dog.  If his mission is to put a bullet in his girlfriend's head cause she turns out to be a North Korean spy, then he's got to do it. I would.  Wait, my gf is CCG.  Hmm.... Chinese.... Communists... hmm....

$8/movie if bought online.  $9 at the door.

and all prices are per movie.
