Exactly five cars -- Frank's, Marquitta's, Orlando's, Taishah's, and Vinquetta's -- are washed, each exactly once. The cars are washed one at a time, with each receiving exactly one kind of wash: regular, suer, or premium. The following conditions must apply:

The first car washed does not receive a super wash, though at least one car does.
The second and third cars washed receive the same kind of wash as each other.
Neither Orlando's nor Taishah's is washed before Vinquetta's.
Marquitta's is washed before Frank's, but after Orlando's.
Marquitta's and the car wahsed immediately before Marquitta's receive regular washes.

2. If Vinquetta's car does not receive a premium wash, which one of the following must be true?

a) Orlando's and Vinquetta's cars receive the same kind of wash as each other
b) Marquitta's and Taishah's cars receive the same kind of wash as eath other.
d) Orlando's car is washed third.
e) Marquita's car is washed fourth.

Consider one of the following possible lists

V
O
M
T
F

Notice it follows all the rules so far. The "V-O-M-F" order is in tact, with T going anywhere after V.

The first car washed doesn't get a super wash i.e. it either gets a regular or a premium. However, the stem says it doesn't get a premium either so it must get a regular wash.

V - r
O
M
T
F

The rules also state M and the car immediately before it get a regular wash. So:

V - r
O - r
M - r
T - s/p
F - p/s

Since there is exactly one p and at least one s, one will go with T and the other with F.
Therefore, A) is correct.
