another AA thread http://www.lawschooldiscussion.org/prelaw/index.php?topic=37973.msg653125;topicseen#msg653125

please set this mofo straight. he is spouting off something fierce

Bruh we need to be PRO-ACTIVE, not re-active. We have enough education to do amongst ourselves, in warfare strategy, this is called diversion or "war of the flea" where you end up wasting time and energy on a no win situtation, set-up by your opposition.  we need to appreciate that these people let us know that they are still around, as opposed to those who act like they love use. I can see the Klan somewhere right now talking; "wait till finals and then post-"Blacks are too stupid to be lawyers"

And another note: I nominate Sands for moderator of BLSD

I know exactly what you mean, and it's very hard for me to ignore them, but it boils down to, can there be something else done, that's more constructive?

like i said in that thread.. choose your battles...

at the end of the day you're getting worked up and the person that worked you up doesn't give a damn about what is you're feeling or why you're so passionate about  these issues
We're not accepting this CHANGE UP in the rules. Period. American presidents have been in the bed with organized crime, corporate pilferers, and the like for years. And all u want to put on this man is that his pastor said "Gotdamn America?" Hell, America.U got off pretty damn well, if you ask me...

I would ask that BLSD members and black law students and aspirants as a whole launch a full boycott of the Affirmative Action section of LSD until a time to be determined. I believe this leaves the hecklers to argue against themselves for a time, and let us focus on more critical issues such as being the best law students we can be while there and once we get there. I would like to ask consent from BLSD that we do this and give suggestions on the time frame for which this boycott to be completed. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
