recent topics addition

It may be useful to add a "my recent topics" in addition to the "recent topics" link, where the "recent topics" link shows the last 200 topics with activity (as it currently does), and the "my recent topics" link shows the last 200 topics that a given user has posted to that have recent activity.

it would make for an easier way for users to track threads that they're following (i.e., have posted to in the past). not sure how easy it would be to implement , though.

There is a feature for this.  It's not exactly what you suggest because it only shows unread responses, but it might do the trick:
