Where are you waitlisted...
« on: June 22, 2004, 05:44:07 PM »
For those of us getting ready to apply for Fall 2005.  Could you tell us were you were waitlisted and what your stats are, so we might better determine where to apply?  Thanks!

ccptexas - are you a texas resident? If so, i'm very scared about your rejection at UT. My numbers are very similiar to yours. What is your major in? Did you do early admission at UT?

I'm guessing he was out of state @ Texas.  Those numbers would get you in as a resident.

Waitlisted @ Indiana, Wash U, BC (and Illinois until a few weeks ago).  Also waitlisted at UVa, but I've totally written that off since I'm on the general, not the priority.

3.4/162 top 25 nat'l undergrad; very strong app apart from #s; five yrs work exp at a policy/consulting firm, lots of strong extracurrics in undergrad, worked in White House, MA in gov't, including thesis.

waitlisted at Davis

i feel like a lot of waitlists either aren't going to be used, or are going to seldomly move.  This was a very competitive year.  what does everyone else think?

i dunno... i noticed a lot of stanford/columbia admits on lawschoolnumbers opting to go to harvard instead... i guessed that maybe harvard would be overenrolled this year, and that stanford/columbia would start delving into their waiting lists...

so far, no such luck...
