I know this is way late and nobody cares, but I just got my 'release from the waitlist' from Stanford today, dated 8/26/05. They're cutting their waitlist to a 'very small number', which means there are still people out there in the lurch.
I received it just as I got home from my second day of classes at UT.
. No condolonces needed; this is just informational and because I really wanted to use that subject line....
