London - what to do?
« on: August 31, 2005, 04:53:32 AM »
I'm going to be in London during the last week of September. Any suggestions for things to do?

Shop at Harrods, ride the underground, try fish and chips (in a pub, of course), avoid beans on toast, take the palace tours (campy, but fun), and try to incorporate the phrases 'pip pip' 'bloody hell' and 'cheerio' into every conversation.  Have fun!

go to leicester square and buy cheap tickets to one of the shows. there are a bunch of stands that sell tickets for all sorts of different shows and theaters. they usually have a good selection of tickets that are reasonably priced.
