Most Americans without advanced degrees have to work as much overtime as possible to pay the bills.

RN's are a GREAT example of that. So, if we are doing it by how much "free time" she will gain or lose, seems like semantics.

They only have to work overtime, if they live beyond their means. There is no reason for a profession that makes $20.00+ an hour to HAVE to work overtime.

You honestly think rent and other expenses (for even one human being) is the same nation wide don't you???
Now factor in a few kids...........come on. Here is a reality check example. In some towns they now BY LAW have to pay fry cooks almost that much

Plus if you WANT to be the lawyer showing up in the POS goodwill suit and driving a busted car, expected to NEVER get above that 20 an hour either. And if the thought is "well, I'll live in the cheaper areas that I am accustomed to" Ok. So either Hicksville with NO JOBS or ghetto ville, and you and your kids die. -Come on, just be a functioning adult.
