UT's Optional Essay Standardized Test Performance

University of Texas has an optional essay for standardized test performance issues.

"Standardized Test Performance: Candidates sometimes seek to establish that their academic potential is inaccurately reflected by standardized tests or that one LSAT score is more representative than another. If you believe this to be true in your case, please explain."

My SAT was average, yet my college GPA was great. I took the LSAT three times and never broke the 160's.

I want to explain my struggle with multiple choice exams, and how I thrive when its essay or free response.

My Question is how should I structure it, and what is a good length? Any input is appreciated.

I'd leave the "why I didn't do good" part when its something like this. LOTS of law school is MCQ (and so is the bar exam)
