I got waitlisted on a couple of top schools and I have submitted a letter of continued interest but I'm not sure whether I should send in an updated resume or not. Here is the thing. I've been working at the Capitol Hill for many years, (yes I'm over 30), and I left my job last summer to study for LSAT and to take care
of some personal matters. Aside from personal stuff, everyone in my office had to work around the clock and I knew that there was no way for me to get a good LSAT score if I stayed.
But I just got hired at a large company and I'm starting from April, and as you can probably infer, I'll be basically doing the same stuff... So it's not really a prmotion per se.
So there's like a one year of umemployedment gap unaccounted for, and I'm worried because admissions officers might wonder and ask why I left my job and JUST got another job if I'm gonna go to a law school in August after all...
What do you think? Send in an updated resume or not?
