LSAT retake advice...
« on: July 01, 2013, 06:28:46 PM »
So I'm graduating from SUNY Albany this summer with a poly sci major. My GPA will be about a 3.61, with my major GPA closer to a 3.8 (does that matter?)

Anyway, I was only semi-serious about the LSAT and didn't study. AT ALL. I took it completely cold and got a 158. I was disappointed, to say the least. I would like to get into a much better school that would require much higher numbers. Would a retake be recommended? And where to start studying? I know about those bibles, but I'm not too sure that's the complete answer.

And with my numbers now, what schools could I expect to get into? I want to retake the test but have to wait until October. I want to apply for the '14 semester ASAP!

Additionally, I am a Marine Corps veteran, which I imagine (hope!) would bolster my application...
