Leave of absence from online law school
value321:
Any thoughts about whether it is better to take a leave of absence from law school after the first year to focus on the baby bar or just to proceed into the 2L courses?
jonlevy:
If you do not pass the FYLSE, you do not need to worry about any 2L.
Marauder:
I believe you are allowed three attempts (if you desire) before starting your second year. If you do not pass by your third attempt I think calling it quits is reasonable. Personally I think I would hang it up after the second try. I believe you have 5 or seven years to complete your law degree. So assuming it takes you three attempts that is about a year and half of down time.
Marauder:
What law school do you attend?
value321:
Thank you for the advice. I haven't started yet, but I am considering Concord or ALU.
