Hello all,

I am in Atlanta and so far I like what I see.  I am liking Emory as well.

I am going back and forth about bags though.  Will I be able to do it with just one?  Can case books and a laptop really fit comfortably? If so I would be leaning towards a sleeve (booq?) for the laptop - placed in a large backpack (Jansport) or a laptop back pack (I do not really like these-booq are decent in appearance but on the expensive side - $140 and up for the ones that I looked at)

But I feel as though a back and then a seperate shoulder bag for the laptop might be necessary?  Those in law school can you share what you did and how it worked out?  Those just starting school what did you decide?

i think you're gonna need separate bags.  i don't know if you've picked up your books yet, but there's no way that a notebook, casebook and laptop are all going to fit in one bag - even the huge ones.

i've actually split mine up and am carrying the things i'll need regardless of the day in my laptop bag (bluebook, Black's, etc) and the other stuff i'll haul around in my bookbag.

Depends on how big your computer is.

So obviously this post is not directed to me. But I'm bored and this is the most interesting thing at the moment, so why not "post a reply"?

I am hoping to still look cute when I go to class. A tote bag. That's all I want. Hopefully it'll be big enough to hold my (very tiny) laptop, some pens, lotion and lip gloss. And at least one case book. The other books I indeed to carry in my hands.

Because there's absolutely no way I'm walking around looking like this:

The dreaded "wheelie". If I ever have to resort to that, just shot me.

When you sport a wheelie you always look like you're coming or going to the airport and you're only one step from a pocket protector.. :D :D
