The question asked about a stand alone law school vs a university is a good one.  Is a school being a stand alone law school a red flag?

I can think of a bunch, but not a single stand alone law school I would say going to is a hands down good idea- all are risky and expensive.  Can't think of a single one.

Maybe Hastings. It's part of the UC system, but is not associated with any undergrad campus. It has a good rep in CA, but is ridiculously expensive.
