Native American students chance of top 20 law school..
« on: November 26, 2011, 04:30:52 PM »
I am currently working on my undergraduate degree at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Ct. I am a Biomedical Science major. I currently have a 3.35gpa and should have it to 3.4 or 3.45 by end of next year. I got a 158 on the LSAT. I am 50 percent Native American and my father is in the military. I have not
had a chance to work with my tribe much because we live 600 miles away from it. Would this help me out at all? Also does anyone know of any websites that tell how many Native Americans attend specific law
schools?

This site might be helpful: http://academic.udayton.edu/thewhitestlawschools/2005twls/Chapter7/IsolationIndian.htm

If I were you I would seriously consider Indiana University, Bloomington. They have zero enrolled Native American students, they are in the top 20 and their admitted LSAT range is 156-164 and GPA range is 3.4-3.8
