LSAC listing wrong institutions attended
« on: November 21, 2011, 09:49:00 PM »
The LSAC is listing that I attended four universities that I never attended. When I called, she told me they received a fax with my name and SSN requesting that these institutions be added to my profile.

I never sent any fax or requested anything be added... but she seemed convinced that I did. I didn't get the benefit of the doubt at all. She said I would need to contact these 4 schools and request letters from their Deans' offices (on letterhead) stating I did not ever attend the universities. Wtf?? Because they screwed up? That is going to take forever and hold up my applications.

I talked to another lady later in the day who is going to try and pull up the fax and get back to me.

These schools are totally random (I'm from TX and have only gone to schools here.. these schools are in D.C., Alaska, GA, and OK). It would be absurd for me to have to go out of my way to prove I didn't attend these schools.

Has anyone had this problem?
