178/3.69 (3.74 UGPA). No idea how good recs are, PS is pretty good I think (original and pretty risky). Top 3 undergrad.

You will get in everywhere except Yale and Stanford. Maybe in off the waitlist at one of those two.

Wow that scares me. Why are my chances are their so much lower than on Law School Predictor?

That guide doesn't work that well on the margins. It gives someone with a 180/4.0 slightly better than a 50/50 chance at penn. Someone like that is an autoadmit at Penn- probably with big scolarship money.

I know it seems to give lower chances at lower ranked schools with those numbers. Many schools will not accept students who are way outside of their lsat or gpa range. For instance, a school with a 155 average lsat is usually not going to accept someone with a 178 lsat. They feel like accepting students with that high of numbers would be filling up a seats that they know the student will not take because he will likely be going to a better ranked school. You would probably get accepted to at least 10 of the T14. Good luck!

Anyone who comes on here with a 178/3.74 asking about their chances are either flaming or being a tool.  Pull down numbers like that and not have your mind around what's going on?  Please!

GPA  has ZERO to do with being prepared for lawschool. Getting a high score on the lsat could almost mean they were more worried about their immediate issue (the test) and less worried about their distant fantasies of the future.

I aced my ASVAB and didn't have an F'n clue what MOS I wanted. This could very well be the same thing.
Besides, who cares if it isn't? It's LSD. We come here to basicly just talk simantics all damn day anyways.

Not flaming--but I AM a splitter, so not a lot of data to go on (on LSN, TLS or whatever). Just wondering if you guys have heard of any splitters like me getting into HYS.
