AA looking at Southern schools

Hello all,

I'm new to the board so I figured I'dsay hello !  I plan on sitting for the LSAT in December with apps going out around Christmas.  Now I am a northern African American male, and I plan on applying to a lot of Southern schools (Tennessee, Mississippi, NC, etc.) How difficult will the transition be, do you think, for me at a place like Mississippi for example? I only ask because the cost is great if you get in state residency...Thanks !
