Free Law Essential Program
« on: September 07, 2011, 01:10:57 PM »
Hi,

I thought I would share this with the forum.  I signed up for www.themisbar.com last year.  They offered a course called Finals, which covered Torts Criminal Law Contract Law.  It includes free video lectures, outlines, and test material questions (not mbe style)  This year they are offering a new program called Law Essentials which cover all of first year subjects (and for us online student this means 1l and 2L)

There is absolutely no cost and it;s an excellent program.  Go to www.themisbar.com and register.

Thank you for the information.  By the way, what color was the paper on which your passing score was printed?

Hi,

The color paper of my results?  That's an odd question.  Anyways it was regular white paper.

Thank you.  I didn't have to read the contents of the package from the CA state bar in 2009 because the first thing I saw upon opening the envelope was a yellow notice that included the words: "unsuccessful candidates."

why didn't you read the whole thing? There might have been something useful in it.

I felt too disappointed.

Thanks.   I wish there was an organization for online law school students so that we could get together in our respective cities, regardless of which school we are enrolled in.  Then we would feel better about our goal.

why not start one?

There should be free forum making sites out there and other resources to do that.
