iPhone/iPad App for LSAT preparation
« on: August 02, 2011, 06:24:49 PM »
Dear lawschooldiscussion.org users,

my name's Torsten. First of all I'd like to thank the administrator Andrew for letting me do this post.

I'm working with appbackr which is a platform where anybody can fund mobile apps. While this might not sound very interesting to you at first sight, I'd like to inform you about one special app which might be very appealing for you: LSATMax enables college students/graduates to prepare for the LSAT exam in a much more cost-efficient way than they could by traditional preparation classes. The app costs $599, but this is not relevant for you.

Since the developers want to give pre-law students the opportunity to participate in the app's success by supporting its roll-out to the market (taking place these days), they set up a campaign on appbackr where students can fund the app and make a profit up to 27% by purchasing a wholesale copy for $273 which will be able to earn $345 in revenue. Apart from that every backr (that's how the people who fund an app are called) will get a free copy of LSATMax worth $599 for their own personal use.

You can find more information about the LSATMax campaign here.

Here are some of the app's features:
- Whiteboard video lessons by Harvard Law School alumni
- June 2007 LSAT with detailed answer explanations
- Message boards for real-time access to Harvard Law School alumni
- Access to officially-licensed LSAT question since June 1991
- 6 full-length practice LSATs
- Sketch pad feature
- Lifetime access to the app and course materials
- and much more

By the way, LSATMax is kind of the sequel to the very succesful Bar exam prep app BarMax: http://www.getbarmax.com

Please let me know if you would like to know more about the offer.

Torsten
