Article Marketing is hugely popular. Not only are website owners using this technique, but also affiliates with no websites are using their own articles to promote merchant products and get commissions. Sometimes article marketing is known by its slang term "bum marketing".....

It's called misleading deceptive advertising for a reason.  It's also known as shilling, especially online in discussion forums.  It's also illegal because it is fraud since the articles are filled with lies and deliberate misrepresentations.
