Loyola New Orleans 2011 Waitlist--HELP

I was placed on the Loyola New Orleans waitlist for the 2011 Fall admittance. Can someone help me out and explain approximately when I would be contacted about whether or not I am accepted? Im also confused because the letter they sent me says nothing about confirming/denying that I would like to stay on the Waitlist, as other universities have. I would like to absolutely stay on it, and want to make sure I am.

Call the school, let them know that they are your first choice.  Ask about their process.  See if there is anything you can do that will increase your chances.  Visit the school; stop by the admissions office on your tour to introduce yourself. 

You could hear as late as the day before school starts.  Make sure to check with them every 2 weeks or so.
