New Job Search Tool For Law Students -

I am a Cardozo 3L and I just created a website which helps law students get jobs. The site makes it easy to submit your job application to legal employers online. I used it to get interviews last year and now I've opened it up to everyone else.  Take a look at

Resumé Launchpad has a database of about 25,000 legal employers, organized by size, practice area and geographic location. You can search and select firms that you want to apply to. Then, you can upload your cover letter and resumé.  The website automatically inserts the firm's name and recipient's name into your cover letter, similar to a mail-merge.  Finally, Resumé Launchpad emails your application package to the selected law firms. The email appears to come directly from your email address.

Last year, I used this technology myself and was able to apply to about 300 law firms in a fraction of the time it would take to do so manually. It worked well for me and I thought the idea was good enough to make a website.

This isn't a scam. Here are what a few other law students said:
    * "This is truly amazing. Exactly what I've been looking for in my job search."
    * "Your site is absolutely awesome. ... This kind of thing was sorely needed."
   * "Just wanted to say what a brilliant idea for a site and it's really such a great tool for every law student."

I put a lot of work into the site and I think it can make your life easier.

I just used your tool to apply to several dozen Little Rock firms for the second half of the summer (since I will be there first half anyway). So thanks!

The one issue I have is that your tool sometimes does not ID the correct HR representative. Then, as far as I know, it's impossible to change it within the program. So for many firms, I had to collect the data from your website, then send a separate email in gmail because your software had IDed the wrong person.

So I suggest you make it possible to change the email addresses of the person to whom you send your mass emailings.  Thanks!

That's a great site, ResumeLaunchpad. It' still earlňy for me to apply to any jobs in the law domain but I'll keep it in mind for later.
