GPA improvement in last two years---3.4

I had one bad semester in school my freshman year which really killed my gradepoint.  it's gone up steadily since then; all A's last semester (first semester junior year).  I'm a classics major, latin language requirement, and it is likely I will write an honors thesis.  GPA in major is great.  Will my 3.4 kill my chances for a good school, or will admissions counselors look at that continued improvement?   Thanks

Improvement helps. As long as you get a good LSAT, anything above a 3.0 should be fine.

In all reality even a 2.0 with a 180 would get into their choice of lawschools before a 3.9 with a 155.

Depends on what you mean by "good school."

Do you mean Harvard? Yes, you've killed your chances at Harvard.

You still have a shot at the lower end of the T14 and plenty of T1s (many of whom, with a very good LSAT score, will throw money at you).
