GPA Conversions for Ontario Students

Hello!

I'm sure this question has been asked before but my pursuit of a consistent answer has been fraught with difficulties.

My school in Ontario uses a 12 point GPA scale. On that scale, I have an 11.2 GPA. If converted to a 4 point scale using 4=A+, 3.9=A, etc., I have a 3.87 GPA. If using the LSAC scale of 4.33 for an A+, 4.0 for an A, etc. my GPA is something around 4.01.

My question is: which GPA benchmark should I be looking at to judge which schools I will be competitive at? Will all US schools use a certain scale? Will my transcript (only has letter grades, no %) be evaluated using the 4.33 scale from LSAC?

I had a 3.62 from the University of Toronto and LSAC boosted it to a 3.67.
UofT is on a 4.0 scale.
