I've seen these terms used by judges and lawyers in offical documents and was curious if any here are offended by them. I read elsewhere that some members are not, but I thought that we should discuss here in the this section, since as a blackman I find them both offensive. Am I the only one?

I wouldn't be offended.  Niggardly is just unfortunately similar to the derogatory slang.  Its definition is also more inline with the Jewish stereotype.

The owner of the online law school California Midland school of law called me a niger over the telephone and said he does not want any nigers attending his law school. He gave me permission to tape record his telephone conversation threatening me and calling me a niger. I was trying to sign up for his online law school and he said he does not allow nigers to attend and sign up. Listen to the tape recorded message here.
