How is it that the democrats can't get their act together?

why is it that the republicans still manage to get their way even when the entire congress is full of democrats...

how can the democrats be that disfunctional?

the liberal or progressive wingnuts can't get their act together, it seems, they complain and thwart their own party goals.  Now they suggest that they will run another democratic candidate against obama.  Idle threats...they will ALL cave in the end and support him...who are they kidding?  only themselves...anthony weiner has become a real whiner, for example, and we know his small group of libs are ALL talk and no action...their views are TOO radical and extreme for our conservative country...

next election there will be less liberal dems...maybe then they will learn that unity is important...in the meantime the conservative center of the democratic party has joined the republican party...amazing. The dems may learn something aftrer this recent trouncing at the polls that if a party wants to get their goals done they probably should work as a team.   aye for one am glad they are weak...conservative values are healthier for our country anyway...

sorry progressive wingnuts...you are becoming not relevent. 8)

I really don't understand this either. I'm a Democrat and I was very disappointed when the Conservatives took over the House because this guarantees that Obama will either concede or achieve nothing. Guess it's all that donkey attitude rubbing off on us. We're stubborn and don't want to get along. Ha, I'm talking trash about my own party. Lol, I'm so self-depriciating.

I think Blue Warrior raises some interesting questions, but my only concern is that he is seeing the Democrats in tunnel vision. It's a fact that sometimes politicans from the same party disagree with eachother. That is true for Republicans also, and it's not just a Democratic problem. I think the country could greatly benefit from unity and vision within both parties. When the Republicans were calling the shots, I think they were saying that tax cuts would allow the rich to hire more people and create jobs. What ended up happening, is corporations sent job oversees for the purpose of using cheap labor to maximize profits. Meanwhile, while some Republicans were calling for corporations to behave ethically, their peers were overseeing committees regarding these dubious business practices. Some of those folks were financially backed in tight political races by corporate lobbiest with deep pockets. Due to all the political instability in Washington, we will continue to see a mass exodus of private jobs and a subsequent demand for government solutions, and as long as the US dollar continues to loose ground, and as long as racism remains a problem in America, I am afraid neither party will fully get it's act together.
