Just curious...Has anyone heard of a friend or they themselves do JAG service for the US?

What benefits do you get...do they pay off your loans...etc...

I interviewed with them, but the only one that offered the loan repayment was the Army. I believe it was 60k upon accepting the offer, but the other branches did not offer anything. I might be wrong about the numbers, but I do remember only the Army gave extra money for loan forgiveness.

The Navy and the Marine Corps are in the same "boat", so to speak, and do not offer money as a hook.  In the sea services recruiting culture, putting money on the table to recruit "volunteers" is taboo.  In essence, they want people who want to be a Marine/sailor, regardless of the compensation.

I would love to do JAG.  I plan on applying to Army JAG for the November boards.  If you just type in JAG, and pretty much anything else you can think of, you can come up with a lot of information.
