Many people say that 1L is the toughest year and things get progressively easier by 3L. Is this the case, in your opinion, at UC Berkeley?

Berkeley is my DREAM school. I have a 162 LSAT and a 3.7 GPA. I was an All-American athlete in college and am currently serving in the Peace Corps. I am hoping to apply for 2012 admission. Do you know students with similar credentials, or who have been Peace Corps Volunteers? Any tips for getting in? Thanks!

As a 2L I can tell you that the classes get harder but feel easier.
Best example would be if you show up out of shape to fitness camp. At first you throw up while running the mile, but after a few months they start making you run 2miles but you feel the way you felt before after only half a mile, its still harder you just are more fit and can handle it with less stress.
