I will agree that you should not go to law school unless you want to be a lawyer. You should not go to medical school if you do not want to be a doctor. You should not get an MBA if you do not want to work in business. The only exception to law school is if you go to a TOP school Harvard, Yale, Stanford and schools of that ilk. The prestige that degree comes with can open a lot of doors in business, but otherwise it is unwise to spend 3 years of your life and 100k to get a degree that specializes in a job you do not want to do. However, the OP never said they don't want to practice law.
