fee waiver deferment?
« on: September 17, 2010, 10:29:08 AM »
This has probably been asked before, but I can't seem to find it.

I graduated undergrad in May, but I took the LSAT last September (thinking I would apply straight away). I since changed my mind and am currently planning on working for a year and applying for Fall 2012.

After I got my LSAT score, I received a number of fee waiver emails, and I actually just got one the other day as well. I was wondering if these were only good for the year in which they are offered, or if they would apply a year from now as well..

The fee waivers will probably come back and honestly if you go to LSAC forum or just register for one you will get a ton of  fee waivers next year. If you actually go to one just write your LSAC number at every booth, which takes two seconds and you will get a fee waiver form the school. Schools want to manipulate the rankings by having as many applicants as they can. So if you show an inkling of interest they will give you a fee waiver generally.
