Chances after academic dismissal

Hello everyone,

I am applying to law school and want to know my chances.  My GPA is 2.8 and my LSAT is 158, taken the second time.  I have one big obstacle however, I was academically dismissed from another law school due to bad grade my second semester.

Do I still have a decent shot at acceptance?  Also, is there anyone out there who has gone through this process with the stigma of previous law school dismissal and can offer me any insights?

I 'm just applying to law schools but I think the fact that you've already been accepted to a law school  and ur taking the steps to re-enter law schools speaks volumes about your charachter and persistence.Good luck.
I'd suggest contacting a law school that you don't plan on attending or one ur interested in and asking them honestly what would someone's chances be in your situation.Make sure your personal statement sparkles. You have to prove growth.
