Best Hornbooks
« on: August 09, 2010, 02:55:13 PM »
About to be a 1L in two weeks, and I am curious which hornbooks you all find to be the most useful.  Also, any additional input on other helpful study aids is much appreciated (except the E&E's; I've already purchased those).

Thanks!

I recall using and liking Murray on Contracts when I was a 1L. I don't know that I'd buy any of this crap. For the most part you can find it all in your library.

Examples & Explanations and Questions & Answers. CALI.org also has great hypos in their review courses and lessons. Focus on supplements that force you think rather than those that do the thinking for you. Afterall, you have to learn to think like a lawyer. No one is going to pay you for your ability to read supplements.
