Some may see it as a nightmare, but I found it to be empowering. I took the June 7 LSAT. On June 6, my grandmother died. While she had fought cancer for many years and been up and down, it was unexpected. Rather than let it bring me down, I used it as motivation to succeed. I did not do as well I as I expected, but I was pleased with my score.
I guess what I am trying to say is sometimes things may seem against you---use it to your advantage. Life is not perfect in law school or practicing. Do not see obstacles, see a problem you can solve.
