Though I'd share my pre-LSAT story
« on: July 24, 2010, 02:29:25 PM »
Some may see it as a nightmare, but I found it to be empowering.  I took the June 7 LSAT.  On June 6, my grandmother died.  While she had fought cancer for many years and been up and down, it was unexpected.  Rather than let it bring me down, I used it as motivation to succeed.  I did not do as well I as I expected, but I was pleased with my score.

I guess what I am trying to say is sometimes things may seem against you---use it to your advantage.  Life is not perfect in law school or practicing.  Do not see obstacles, see a problem you can solve.
